Children practice yoga differently than adults do. The postures are the same (although no postures are a perfect yoga pose as all children as well as adults have different body shapes and sizes) but a lot of activities, games and movements are included in yoga with kids because the need to move and play are natural in kids.
Adults yoga are geared on focusing on the poses alone and exercising the body to reduce stress and achieve calmness where else kids yoga fulfils the needs of children to play, have fun and get creative while learning the postures at the same time.
