
Children loves to play and have fun, they love to move! Yoga sessions needs to be tailored to the child's age and maturity level and young kids such as 2 to 4 will thrive on simple movement activities with poses and games that they can easily understand and have fun doing, they also don't mind a little challenge and being silly and funny. Children from 2 to 4 years are very active, curious and highly inquisitive. They respond best to simple encouraging instructions. For older children they can do more challenging poses with same fun and games catered to their age group. Older children of 4 to 6 years old love to learn new things, do pretend play, tell stories and use their imagination.
The yoga session for children are very different then an adult yoga class, It is playful and active with music, rhythm and games.
In blooming yogis, children of all ages will be encourage to develop their story telling and imagination through mindfulness exercises, breathing activities and story telling (books, nursery rhymes).
