
There is one rule in Yoga with kids and that is you gotta have fun! Doing yoga for kids is nothing like traditional yoga classes. Adults comes to yoga classes to feel calm and remove stress but children have extensive energy and they love to play! Though children loves to play they also can be easily bored and need to have variation in different types of activities.
Yoga for kids includes poses that kids can relate to like animal yoga ( walk like a bear, sleep like a mouse), nature yoga (water fall pose, flower or pumpkin pose) and fairy tales yoga ( fairy pose, unicorn pose), it has rhythm activities such as body percussion and 'call and respond' and it has games and lots of music.
In blooming yogis, the classes are divided into different sections so children can have a variety of different forms of activities that are calming, engaging and also fun! Music are played often such as during sun salutation, games and while doing movement in yoga poses. Music is the ingredient in enhancing and developing new neurons in the brain. the rhythm and tunes in music help kids to be smarter and creative.
